  1. i like the front mud guards they almost look like they should be standard fit, also the foot step built into front bumper looks neat so at least all the things done look like they have been thought about and done well, mine was easy to get up to scratch but gs models are easier to work on so good luck with her.
  2. just another thankyou,i had a great time with the reo and although the weather wasn't as good as the previous year i didn't crash on the way home this time like i did in the ferret last year lol:whistle:
  3. i'd have been there like a shot but i'm at tankfest all weekend drooling, sorry.
  4. nice toys,i love the scammell explorer but i'm not mad enough to run one:drive:,welcome on board.

  6. they are great fun and you meet very nice people, but they do cost a lot but that could be due to the fact i can't stop buying new ones lol :cool2:.
  7. welcome,101 is a good choice but i'd keep the 4+4,good luck with whatever you go for.

  10. i got them and war and peace from one of the radio equipment tents he had at least 10 sets,he was the one with the £1000 silent generator for sale and the huge mast outside,he told me mod had started selling of bowman kit but had then changed there minds and stopped doing so but what was out there already was fine to use, very odd.it was plugged into black boxes and green switchs in ferret(24v),and yellow boxes and green switchs in landrover but thats run on 12v.
  11. can someone tell me if i can use bowman headsets with a clansman intercom,i've two bowman headsets and intercoms fitted in my ferret and landrover but if i plug them in they work but you get a constant reverb back through the system which goes away if you put your fingers over the noise cancelling mics, try'd looking for an answer through google but found nothing,do i need diffrent prestel switchs or some sort of adapter,or even cut out the mic sections, hope someone out there has an answer, thanks.
  12. my landrover has 4 point harness fitted but it was used for offroading,my ferret has nothing for the driver but does for the commanders seat which didn't bother me until i had a crash in it, and even at low speed it did hurt quite alot as the inside is very solid which hurts when you bounce off it,if i had a belt on i doute i'd have been hurt at all.so now i think i'd find a way of fitting a belt of some kind even if it looks out of place, better safe than sorry.
  13. just posted a new album on my profile page of samaur tank collection, took them on the way to the leman 24hr race this year,i think its the forth time i've been to seem them all still who can pass up looking at tanks.:cool2:
