Ok so Olly update. 😢😢😢 Found slithers of metal in sump. Cubemeister removed camshaft and a bearing had moved!! A couple of other things so engine is now on floor of garage in pieces. New cam bearings waiting to go in though. Oldest cube let helping out by really getting into it all!!!!

Thanks xx its suffering with low oil pressure at the moment so the cubemeister is going to change oil, clean sump and replace filter.

Well I'm slowly becoming engulfed in all things green and metal! I needed a new car, my Audi is just getting too old and a bit unreliable. Sooooooooo I bought an older vehicle!!!!! I now own a defender 90. He's painted in nato green and the last three letters of the number plate are the first three letters of the cubes plate on his GMC. 😆

Yup as the cubemeister says, use the 2014 form for now. I have spoken to persons regarding getting the 2015 details up and running ASAP. I apologise on behalf of SOE for this. :kiss::kiss:

Awww hun I wasn't suggesting you were knocking it xxx I was just joining in with the general chit chat!!!! we were aware of how many differing views people would have on the subject and we are happy with other peoples opinions. He did it so we now have the chance to attend other shows slightly further away. Cost me a fortune in tea and bacon sarnies that's for sure!!!!!!!!

As the engine conversion widow, I'm very proud of whst he achieved. In France last year we were so pleased with how well she went! The mpg now is awesome!!!!

Well I'm 21 (plus 23) and the cubed one is 46. I've aways had an interest in vehiclear especially MVs. We ought the truck in 1997. Our eldest son (15) is very much like his dad, mechanically minded and interested in vehicles. What an interesting thread though

The cubed one got a GMC t-shirt and a 'D-Day 2014-I was there' t-shirt. (So did I oddly enough!) I got a vintage oxo tin (with modern day oxo cubes inside!) -
