It was very busy on the Sunday. The cubed one did suggest I stand behind the Griffon when it was running to try and cool off!!! The chap who ran it was holding on for dear life!!!!! Must get some more piccys up here. -

Well it's been a most magnificent weekend. Seen some amazing vehicles, excellent battles and met some lovely people. We've been treated like royalty thanks to Ken and his team. The weather has been epic, thanks for organising that!!!! Well worth the trip up here and look forward to coming again next year, hopefully with our own outfit!! Right lets get home, so need a bath. Have sweated from parts of my body I didn't even know existed!!!

Just had stew and mash, delicious! Been a brilliant day, the battle was epic!!! Massive bangs, here's a couple of pictures. Will put more on when I get home and have electricity!!!!!

It's a fantastic show, made better with the amazing weather!!! Lots of different vehicles here, loads of re-enactors. Have met up with Smithy and Vulture so far. Oh and Ken and his amazing team of course!!!

We left the south coast at 5pm. M25 was the usual car park!!! Anyway we stopped at Toddington services for refreshments (junct 12 M1) now it's the cubed ones turn to drive Satnag says 150 miles/2:19 hrs to go! Put the wine on ice, I'm coming!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes, the convoy-it was a fantastic sight seeing the snake of trucks trundling through the countryside. The drinking. OMG Maurice making us all stand there wide eyed and open mouthed as he flew inches from us. The drinking. Jeez, yes the 'fast' food van!!!! It honestly took hours!!!! The drinking. And yes, putting faces to names, making friendships that will last forever Then there was the drinking, leaving the genny running till stupid o'clock if I remember rightly?!!!! -

I have had a request from a friend on facebook, he is thinking of doing a little fundraising event for Armed forces day at his village shop. They will be doing a free cheese and wine tasting and has asked me if anyone would like to take their WW2 vehicle or turn up in authentic dress. He understands its short notice! Thanks for that Jack. We do pride ourselves on being a chilled and relaxed show, with something for everyone. Yup I saw ChrisG in his jimjams to!!!! I also saw Rambo in his jimjams to (although luckily not a thong!!) I had enough wine to keep the whole sight happy, in fact as I was ambling along, when a young lad thrust a bottle at me. (Thanks go to Chef Ives!) I was we'll behaved tho The show was one of our best ever and we're glad that you chose our show to get yourself back on the scene again xxxxxxxxxx
