  1. Very nice photos, indeed! Lots of nice kit on the vehicles there. This must be one of the better shows!? Marty
  2. The bridge is rather expensive and the price demanded is about 120 euroes! ;-) And I will make sure to post a few photos of the bridge on the nearby lake. Tour of Norway, Jack? Anytime! And to be honest, I really think that you guys would enjoy a trip around Norway. Even without any majot battles there are some really intresting places to visit. Almost in every town around here there's some kind of old german buildings. Mostly barracks, but also buildings like cinemas and of course forts. Marty
  3. I saw 5 or 6 Whiste Scouts that day, all cut in the same way. These were cut to pieces due to armaments deals in the 90s. These were all in the armed forces back then. Yes, we did see lots of intresting pieces that day. Saw some RSOs in a garage as well. Talking to a couple of intresting guys as well. Marty
  4. Last ones for this time... Marty
  5. Had a look around yesterday, and picked up two wheels for a friends Horch, and found several other vehicles laying around. Marty
  6. Yesterday we made a deal and the bridge will be picked up shortly. This is parts of it. Marty

  8. That M20 will be a lot of fun when it's finished. A lot of fun rstoring as well perhaps!? The Jimmy looks nice! Marty
  9. This has got to be one of the greatest events. Looks like a really nice area as well. Great photos! Marty
  10. Very good! And you even had nice weather!? That's great! Thanks for sharing! Does anyone have photos of the beach landing or the bombardment of the jeep? Marty
  11. Should I bring my girlfriend to Malta or Crete? We of course want a romantic holiday, but also have room for some historic ww2 places as well. Perhaps a weird question to be asking on a forum such as this, but... I'm afraid I'll regret asking this question... ;-) Marty
  12. This one in Sopfia looks even worse, not good at all! Is it the curse of the Pavesi??? Marty
  13. But of course Jack, you're a cowboy. Speaking of cowboys. My uncle and grandfather called in reenforcements yesterday in the hunt of some missing cows. We took the Dodges and had a little trip into the mud. No cows could be found, but we saw their tracks and had our fun. (meanwhile the cows arrived back at the farm). Marty
  14. I just picked up a copy of Military Machines International, which I by the way think is a good magazine, found that another museum is selling off all it's items??? Wasn't there a museum or a collector last year that sold off every item in the collection. And now this 2800 item collection will be auctioned off as well!? Looks like a great collection with lots of rare items. Info can be found at: http://www.hermann-historica.com/ http://militaria.collector.free.fr/A_visiter/Royan/Royan.htm Marty
  15. This could have made a really nice museum, instead these are placed in a storage facility. All vehicles belongs to the national defense museum and are not open to the public... http://www.rb.no/bil/article3568476.ece Marty
  16. What is that inside the sand colored half-track? And how many vehicles would you say attended to this event. Marty
