  1. Ok, I guess you're getting a bit tired of my photos and especially photos of my WC51. I promise this is the last round... for a while. http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/9220/martinpostershkontrastfm2.jpg[/img] Normandy 1944... http://img182.imageshack.us/img182/993/img4749fd7.jpg[/img] My Dodge again & Starfighter http://img106.imageshack.us/img106/3301/img0175zi6.jpg[/img] A project? http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/5788/gmc0002ma0.jpg[/img] Another project http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/8830/usinfanteribro2jv3.jpg[/img] US Infantry bridge http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/3098/img1068iz5.jpg[/img] http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/3146/img0120og4.jpg[/img] Test your norwegian skills. http://img111.imageshack.us/img111/2646/showtime200507032159307ln9.png[/img] Ok, finished now, won't bother you again. 2. German cannon, a bit modified. Marty
  3. At the plane museum at Gardermoen, Norway you can see a Dodge which has been modified, or rather had been built in with hardtop. I do believe it has been used at the military airport at Gardermoen. http://img471.imageshack.us/img471/4937/img4788kt7.jpg[/img] You can also find some other goodies, that I'd like to tow behind my original wc51. http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/6282/img4767kw8.jpg[/img] Marty
  4. Andrew at the woodstove shop turned to be a dead end. No kitchen trailer there. Marty
  5. My first thought when I saw the first picture, was that perhaps Jack shouldn't be messing with his neighbours... :-D Marty
  6. For x-mas I bought an old TN how to install raio equipment into the wc51/52 as a present for my father. The more I've thought about it, the better the idea sounds. That would surely make the Dodge stand out from the crowd. Does anyone have photos of wc51/52s with radio equipment installed? Marty
  7. I located the The woodstove shop on the net, and sent them a mail. Not sure if the guy will get it and respond. Yep, have heard of the magic the jeepfabrikken guys do to the jeeps. Visited their website a few times too. They are usually seen at Trandum, whenever there's a meeting there. http://www.geocities.com/weaponscarrier51/trandum2004bilder Marty
  8. I prefer going topless, feels better. Enjoy it more then, beside I have a better view of what's going happening on the road. Still, the Dodge look great with the roof on as well. And it's more fun going toples in the winter, people look at you like you're nuts, which I guess we are. Marty
  9. Thanks, I'll try to get in touch with him! Marty
  10. A couple of years ago I bought m-37 field kitchen which burns on gasoline. I have none experience with this so I haven't dared starting it up yet. The thought of putting gasolie on fire sounds a bit scary to me. That's why I'm currently looking for a trailer which is heated by wood. But that's not the point here. Does anyone have a manual for these field kitchens? Or know where to find them? Marty
  11. Wow, this looks like a really nice trip you had. Me and the 5 year old goes on a trip like this every second monday, since both have the day off from work. We bring along some food, binoculars and some plastic guns as well. And of course the Dodge makes a perfect ride for us. We build some traps and such and hunt down a few commies as well. I'm not quite sure who has the best time!? For this summer we have already started planning "operation serpent", which is the invasion of a small island in lake Mjøsa. We found maps and recon photos of the island already. Will need some amphibious equipment to make. The assignment is to invade it and stay there for 24 hours, before we pull back. Schedulded to take place around july 1st. Photos of the island: http://img71.imageshack.us/img71/706/041203185wc7.jpg[/img]
  12. Just found another kitchen trailer that I really liked. Does anyone have more photos of these? Even in use perhaps? http://tanxheaven.com/map/TrailerKitchenM1943US/TrailerCookerM1934map.htm Marty
  13. Actually it's not very cold here at the moment. Yesterday it was in fact raining. Not any snow to speak of either, which on the 26th dec allowed me and some friends to take our vehicles for a ride. I don't think sending snow will do you any good, so I'll post some instead!? OK? :-D http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/7489/img1051zj1.jpg[/img] http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/3056/img1054zs2.jpg[/img] Marty
  14. Hi ya all! I discovered this forum just before x-mas, and found it very intresting. I own a 1942 Dodge WC51 and a post war bantam trailer copy. Polynorm. The Dodge was bought back in 1998 and is unrestored, only received some cosmetic work. Runs like never before. I'm more into the history and driving the vehicles than working on them. Currently looking for a kitchen trailer like described under american vehicles thread. Never seen any of these here in Norway where I live. Well, that's me... ;-)
  15. Looks like I'm getting into the nasty habit of commenting myself here, won't happen again! ;-) But isn't this the same type of kitchen? http://www.pbase.com/cambraniz/image/64123327 Marty
  16. Hmmmm.... Doesn't seem to be working like I hoped. I guess I have to admit I'm a newbie... But here's a link for you instead http://www.geocities.com/weaponscarrier51/vinterdodgekjokken.html Marty
  17. By the way, here's a photo om my m-1937 field kitchen on the back of my wc-51. Marty
  18. Hi! I'm looking for one of these kitchen trailers to hang on to my wc51. Does anyone have more information about this field kitchen or similar. Doesn't have to be US or WW2. Someone mentioned a bloke down in Kent... Merry x-mas evveryone! Marty
