  7. Just a thought, but I think that there could be a possible rise in insurance premiums very soon after the Mot rule change. Comments anyone?

  13. Hi Cedric and welcome to the forum. I lived in Tamworth for ten years until I moved up the M42 to Coalville. When I lived there I had undercover storage for my Diamond Ts on a farm close to the Bellfry golf course. If you are interested in the info to give them a try send me a PM and I will give you the details. Regards... Steve.
  14. Thanks for posting. A great record of your progress so far. I just wish I was in a position to be able to carry out a restoration on my 981 to the standard that you are setting. Regards Steve...
  15. Like a "gaggle of geese", "A truck load of Diamond Ts" sounds like a good collective noun to me.
  16. Hi Tony. I don't know if you have seen it but they have advertised the 981 on milweb. The asking price is 12,500 Euro's. Regards....Steve.
  17. One way to find a vacume leak is to have the engine running and then to spray a little easystart around suspected leak locations. If a leak is present the revs will pick up a little as the easystart is drawn into the engine. Hope this helps. Regards... Steve.
  18. Welcome to the forum Tom. I must say well done on your project so far. I (as well as I'm sure many others) am very impressed by your skills and look forward to seeing more as you progress. Regards.... Steve.
  19. I like the gun stabliser hardware....Is that still clasified top secret ?????
  20. 1942 Diamond T 981 closed cab. 1943 Diamond T 981 closed cab. 1940's 45t Rogers trailer.
  21. Thats where farm cats come in handy. Leave a cab door open so that said cat can gain entry in pursuit of it's prey.
  22. I appologise, my mistake. That will teach me to look a bit harder at the picture in future........
  23. Thats an accident waiting to happen. The chains holding the back of that Challenger should be crossed. The way they are does nothing to stop the tank moving sideways across the trailer (it can and does happen).
  24. FATSO......That would not be allowed today. Not very P C.
