  3. I've just scaned this photo to my computer and thought I would post it here. It is a photo of my DT taken by John Blackman for CMV magazine about 12 years ago.

  11. Thats an accident waiting to happen. The chains holding the back of that Challenger should be crossed. The way they are does nothing to stop the tank moving sideways across the trailer (it can and does happen).

  13. These photographs were taken at this years GDSF of the Diamond T's that attended the 70th anniversary get together at the event. The photographs were not taken by me as unfortunatly I could not attend, but are posted with the kind permission of the photographer Denis Newell, who is the son of a War vet who used to drive them in anger and who I had the privalage of meeting a few years ago.

I think it is testement to how good these trucks are in that so many survive in relation to how many (or few) were built in the first place, when compaired with other wartime vehicle production numbers. A method I have used in the past to help as a ground anchor when nothing else is around, is to lift the lid of a rain gully/drain found in many road gutters, then drop a hardwood railway sleeper into it so the sleeper stands on end and wrap a chain around the sleeper at road level. Here goes, DVD's are in the wrong format to upload strait from a disk to youtube so you need to copy the disk to your hard drive first to re format the film to an mpeg, which you can't do to the disk. I found this site http://www.winxdvd.com/landing/free-dvd-ripper-02.htm?gclid=CLn1t5GB_KYCFUYifAodtHjnEw to download the softwear to my computer to do it. First download this softwear (it's free:cool2:) then open the program and use it to copy the disk to a
