    chatting to my friends dad who was a marine. told me he spent a long time rowing a small boat loaded to the gills with captured weapons and dumping them into the harbour at kiel. he spent weeks at it he told me RIP bert a proper old gent.sadly missed.

    cant help you with the tender. but lovely pup my owns nearly 6 now.her names sasha jez. ( say it in a gruff voice) and as to ripping yarns it still makes me laugh in the episode where after the germans had left. he still refused to leave .he only wanted to escape. and had constructed an entire aircraft frame/fuselage out of toilet rolls. lol. thet dont make em like they used to do they...

    in your need for mig gas (argon) look up adamsgas they supply bottles that take boc fittings. i have one .much cheaper than boc gas. best of luck with the jeep.

    yes i also saw the two hurricanes they did 2 circuits of hendon before heading off.almost dogfightesque diving and turning overhead. fantastic to see.

    i agree kpu i would of started with a good concrete solid base then the roof finally the sides. not unlike a similar project i am currently undertaking.LOL :-D

    hi stig yep mine was a 1972 model on brit plates as you say getting rare .righthand chair would like an m72 myself .stuck into my trekker resto now.(poor mans kubel) getting bigger step by step then i fancy a borgward 2000 .best of luck regards des.

    most horn units i have come across do have an adjuster screw and locknut. operate horn turn screw to desired tone and do up locknut. beep beep!
