  1. The photo's are gone from the ebay link but I assume this is the same one forsale on cars and classics. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C533696
  2. This is on Pirbright ranges, I cannot identify it myself, is it a cruiser? http://hmvf.co.uk/forumvb/album.php?albumid=346&attachmentid=35898
  3. Just to make it easier... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111562196254?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D111562196254%26_rdc%3D1
  4. ...It is obvious from the comments that some forum members can see the photo's that you have attached, for some reason I can't . Can someone repost them please?
  5. Any chance of a couple of pictures of the half and full sized Matadors please?
  6. Not sure of the particular use but these look like what I know as re-reamers that will take a slightly bell mouthed parrallel hole up to a new known diameter, using the lead in to keep the hole position and direction true. *Edit* just noticed the go/no go note on the label so a slightly diffent use to what I suggest above maybe but we used them to refurb bearing housings on platen presses..
  7. Updates on old threads are always welcome, as are you
  8. Welcome! post lots of photo's..... we like photo's.:-)
  9. It starts off the right way up.... [video=youtube_share;yn5xpKgPML0]
  10. I am guessing that there will be a lot of buying and selling of cars around the very end of one month and the start of the next to avoid the stealth tax..... So Doovla will not need so many staff for most of the month and will be overwhelmed at the change of month. (this is assuming that they still propose to refund and sell new tax based on the complete month principal so both buyer and seller pay for the changeover month).
  11. Hi Rod, Hmm, My next project as well! Not too sure of the scale of mine as it will be scaled to a modiified ride on lawn mower I have a few dimensioned drawings if they are any good to you? Oh, and welcome to the forum:)
  12. I will guess that some of you frequent the following site anyway but on a trawl today I came across a nice series of carrier photo's that may be of interest to the carrier owners here. http://histomil.com/viewtopic.php?f=338&t=3918&sid=62491caeaea247aba4f551f11d3dcf23&start=2870 A few good ones of Shermans and the like as well.
  13. http://www.britainfromabove.org.uk/image/eaw047675 I am assuming it is a WW2 tank chassis, photo taken in 1952 Feltham, Mackay Industrial Equipment Ltd Edit A closer look shows that the crane is not attached to the tank which still has its turret....... On the above the number 53ZR20, any chance that is a military number? More tanks here http://www.britainfromabove.org.uk/image/eaw047677
  14. Hi Kenny, lots of pictures please, we like pictures. Good luck with your parts hunt.
  15. Any reply will just tack onto the end of the thread not to a post further up. Just use the quote button to start with, then if you want to reply to a number of people do this:- @rog8811 Thanks for the info @toner yes...or no....what was the question? and so on...we will work it out anyway! Good luck with the carrier and keep us informed
  16. Neat bit of kit, nicely done! Brings back memories of working in the local wheelbarrow factory in the school holidays to earn a bit of pocket money. I was stationed at the end of the paint dip tank with a very similar hand held rivet setter, my job to rivet the supports for the barrow body above the wheel..... it was about an hour into my work, as the first of the newly painted barrow frames got to the assembly area, that it was noticed that I had been riveting them on back to front :red:.
  17. The above shows all the gubbins on the refueler in your photo's.
  18. what a project! Plenty of expert help to be had here, post away.:-D
  19. A few here, dotted around some old airplane in 1949 http://www.britainfromabove.org.uk/image/eaw027787?filter=new&ref=1289 I have another older one that shows the alternative tug, I will post it when I find it...
  20. @ AlanE Once you get this sorted go back to your posts and edit out your e-mail addresses as bots search forums for email formats. As you can see yours are emboldened which makes them clickable this makes spamming your addresses a doddle. If you need to post an email on an open forum do it something like this... me.mine at gmail dot com The person you want to contact you will know how to modify it. Regards rog8811
  21. I will echo all that has been said about AVG but I do use an additional program called Spybot (search and destroy) which will scan for adverts and popups that have attached themselves to downloads on occasion, again free to download and use.
  22. Pictures or it never happened! Please, we love pictures here.
  23. It saddens me how few bomber air and ground crew will survive to see it, my father in law was a Lancaster tail gunner, he died 30 years ago he would never talk about what happened.
