I think if you can suspend your expectations of what each character should look/sound like it'll probably work okay. Although I find when reading the scripts of the missing episodes (yes I'm that sad), your imagination fills the gaps & voices. I'll still be going though :-D

Spent about 3 wonderful hours there on saturday... just sitting in the sunshine, pottering about, chatting with the curators and looking at it all... again... as a p51 buzzed slowly over the field in the distance... wonderful... got me quite in a Bolero frame of mind! -

The only downside... or rather one of the downsides with the relics stuff is you see an awful lot of 'em at shows for sale... broken... hardwearing... they aint :-(

Looks like a drop canister or drop tank but they weren't steel AFAIK (usually ally or cardboad composite type stuff). Don't recognise the pattern either. The opening looks almost like a cockpit. A pontoon thing

It's set in the Pacific A different story but the same production company Saipan, Tarawa, Iwo Jima etc 'Marines' is the new 'Airborne' get them camo hbts quick ;-)

I think it is one of the Bolero destinations. A brilliant place and well worth a visit. You can almost see them coming in when you stand at the rail on the control tower roof.
