looks like we will be getting her going in the not to distant future,got all the manuals to start reading through,compared to the conq it will be a piece of cake ,just awaken her from hibernation.only serious work to do is replace the jib rams as the ones on there are rusty as hell

just need to win the lottery and we,d spend every day there,but in reality of all the vehicles waiting there they won,t get done in our lifetime,but will do our best,and the financial side of it as it all comes out of our own pockets,including the fuel to run them

had a good look over her this week and our estimation is she will hopefully be up and running at the end of summer,early autumn,will take her out on awdc driverounds at slab and also will be at selected shows next year as she,s easy to transport

started work on the old gal today,pulled all the plugs out and tested them,all ok.tipped a bit of paraffin down the bores and let it soak for the week then bar it over next weekend to see if she is all free.then the start of hunting down various bits and pieces that are missing

why are the track end connectors painted all pretty on one side and not the other?

we was debating that today funnily enough and your guess is as good as ours,obviously for some reason and are all equaly spaced

 

would any one have a sensible anwser as to why they are like it ??????????

Is that where the joins were when the track was made up from sections? Are there yellow connectors on the hull side of the other track?

had a good day with her today,she is running,had to gravity feed the petrol as lift pump requires strip down and rebuild and also there is a leak from rads that needs sorting out but other than that every thing is looking good,might even be out end of august on awdc driveround

took her out for a test run round the barracks today,behaved her self quite well,couple of little probs to sort out like the carbs need a strip down and gear linkage needs a bit of ajustment but otherwise all went well,so she will be out with the conq at next awdc heavies event at end of august,will bring her on transporter with the amazon up front,will put video link on when its uploaded
