I think there is mileage in drawing attention to this sort of old book, many of which are long out of print. If it has an illustrated cover could you perhaps post a snap. Myself, charity shops and the libary sales, tend to be where I find stuff;.......even though I wasn't looking for them, at the time. :whistle: Just today I've picked up, A tale of two battles; (Crete and Sidi rezegh, Western Desert. 1941) by Geoffrey Cox. Bristol 1 pub date, 1947 no isbn, guess they were not about when this book was published. :dunno: Good Luck. Andy As far as revieing book so far,................(I'm only 1/4 way through) it seems to be an overview the history and setting up of motorised reconnaissance units.
