Redcap Posted June 1, 2009 Share Posted June 1, 2009 I'm considering buying some kit from there (leather belt and accessories) that I cannot find over here in the UK, and noted that their site does not have an https secure socket for online ordering, despite having the forms and whatnot for web sales. Their hours of business are limited to 2pm-8pm local time (North Carolina time zone), limiting the times they're available to phone, so before I go to the trouble and expense of phoning them from the UK, I was wondering if anyone has had any dealings with them, good or bad? Redcap Posted June 25, 2009 Author Share Posted June 25, 2009 Update - successful first use of this firm: Gowen Militaria did everything right: The kit matched the website description to a "T", the stated size was correct, they kept me informed on the orders progress, charged the correct prices, included the right kit in the package, and correctly descibed it on the customs declaration form (green international mailing sticky).
