Ivor Ramsden Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I've just come across this website: http://www.redcap70.net/ There are hundreds of photos on it including Land Rovers, Jeeps and Bedford MWs in Military Police markings. I hope this is new to you - I can't find any reference to it using the forum search facility. Quote

Redcap Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Excellent site, and he's been of great help with contacts for the Cold War Provost Living History Group, regarding a few photos on there, too HIGHLY recommended Quote
G506 Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Ivor, thanks for posting the link to that site, I didnt know it existed. It is of particular interest to my girlfriend, who's dad was an instructor sergeant in the RMP, and tragically passed away. We found a photo of him with his trainees that she had not seen before, it made her afternoon, so thanks for that :-) Quote

G506 Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Ah, 'She Who Likes To Be Obeyed' has just corrected me, her dad rose to Staff Sergeant, not Sergeant....... That told me! But thanks anyhow! Quote

G506 Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Hello David, just mentioned your suggestion to Mrs G506, she hadnt really considered researching his military history in detail, but I think seeing the photo she hadnt seen before has sparked a whole new interest in his career. So I think a visit to Southwick is on the cards Thanks Quote
