Tony B Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 12 volt on the bulb is only the RMS the peack should be well over 14. All else seems to check out, got to be wiring or dirty contacts. mike16 Posted May 9, 2008 Share Posted May 9, 2008 Something about newer battery technology that sends a meassage to the regulator that causes it to overcharge? I run into that with older 12 volt cars. It too boils all the water out of the battery and blows light bulbs. I would also look for bad grounds or wrong fuse ratings.
