bigduke6 Posted March 19 Posted March 19 I,m about to splash out and buy some new door bottoms for my Lightweight, would a 1973 have the early doors or later type with hole for lock. the present doors have locks. Also , on the subject of doors, does anyone know of a cheap source of the steel u channel that was used on landrover doors ( the main frame etc that the skin sits on.) , the original doors are not too bad but require some steel replacing , plus have a rear door that needs work, (plan to put a hard top on for winter).
