Never had these in my Spartan and I don't recall seeing them in 1980s 432 (where shouting was very much the order of the day). No apparent microphone; so whoever wore them was 'on receive'. They look a bit dainty so, maybe the fourth emergency service? However, they also look relatively uncomfortable: so probably Army . . . Looking closer at them it looks like a tube rather than cable, so a simple voice-tube system. Never seen that in use, or the vehicle fit and certainly no a/c I have worked with. Strange....
