NZM305
Was involved in a new display weekend here in New Zealand this past weekend. Thought I'd post a few pics my father took as well as a short video. Hopefully others on here might have visited as well and will share pics as I didn't get a chance to take too many. Rootes75
The pictures look good, do you find there is a lot of interest in NZ?

I think there is a fair bit of interest but always the need for more events. The big events I know of would-be Armistice in Cambridge and then either Omaka Airshow or Wanaka Airshow. I'm sure lots of smaller groups do their own events and alot of the A&P shows may have a small displays as well. Plenty of stuff hidden away in sheds that comes out every now and again. Rootes75
I have visited NZ once, we actually went on honeymoon... I spent most of my time stopping to photograph anything old and chat to some amazing people. I did particularly like the aircraft under restoration in MoTaT at the time.
NZM305
A few more pictures. The Ashburton Aviation Museum has a great collection with a lot of variety, and unlike a lot of museums you can actually get up close and even touch the planes as long as your being respectful. On the Saturday night the Museum had filed a NOTAM and the two spotlights in attendance were able to fire up. unfortunately, only one at a time though.
