Harley gas tank

I think my WLA gas tank may need internal cleaning, any recommendations for a local company in Hampshire?

Corrosion in any bike petrol tank can be a big issue .. I have fought with 2 tanks for over a decade .. Professionals will often suggest a liner but my personal experience even with the ethanol proof liners is poor 

It depends on the level of corrosion but simply washing it to remove sticky residue and then using  ball bearings and rotating it seems to work best .. Count in a specific number so you know you get them all out

Thanks that’s my thought, I would hate having a liner then find it failed. It’s surprising how. As the tank gets with this ethanol. Think I’ll drain it every autumn.

You can also fill it to the brim with vinegar and let it sit for a few weeks, or if there's heavy rust use electrolysis first.

Thanks for the advice, first using caustic soda to clean out the gunk then on to soda of spirits for the removal of rust. I’ll see how that goes before electrolysis. The tank isn’t badly corroded I think.
