E type bomb trolley

Recommended Posts

 Acquired this E type bomb trolley awhile ago it was converted for use by local council as a roadworks trailer complete with "elephant hut" which was made in their own workshops I'm assuming with ex shelter sections which are thick gauge n still sound, I've dismantled the hut to aid moving due to its weight,it would make a good shepherds hut or living van? The trolley looks complete & is in good condition due to having the hut on it,this is one of a pair that were purchased by the farm,this one has been in the field since 1973.

Hi just seen the trailer article and would like to ask if anybody could help me obtaining some 10.5 x 13 tyres for the same E type trailer I have acquired and am restoring to go with my recently restored David Brown Tractor and soon to be restored original Upkeep Bouncing Bomb. Any leads would be much appreciated.

Hi Bruce,

Looks like someone else has been having the same problem, check out this link;

I don't think you are likely to find 10.50-13 tyres, but looks like there is a compromise here.

regards, Richard

you are more likely to find  13rim size tyres used by  farming on some equipment some year ago we need a set of 13 inch tyres for a  MH  SCAMMELL we got them from  tyre dealer in southern IRELAND
