antiguogrumete
Yesterday visited my city (Valencia) a Boeing 707-366C from Israel Air Force 295 (air refueling tanker), an event for all the spotters in the region who came to see it. The sound of its engines is truly spectacular, and the silhouette of the plane with all the smoke it generates is truly epic. I do not know if it is a daring to put the video here, but it may be that a lot of lovers of historical aircraft like it and I think the B707 already is
ruxy
Yes , you have it correct "sound" (not noise) - just like a Deltic diesel.

ploughman
A bit ironic. "Where does an In Flight Refueller get refuelled?

It seems they drop into Italy for a fast turnaround , this time Valencia to brim the tanks with cheap aviation kero spirit.
10FM68
The navigator can't be up to much, then - Valencia is in Spain!
Citroman
We have a lot of 707 AWACS planes in the neighbourhood. It's not so much of fun when they are practising here landings and take offs all day long. 😉 There are tankers here too. One crashed a few years ago near the runway.
