Davie
I got some stuff called messowax ( i think) a few years ago from RR services in Kent. It worked a treat on my LR90 canvas. I don't know if it comes in any other colour than olive drab Though. Hope this helps, Davie. http://www.rrservices.co.uk/
snowtracdave
Mesowax . Been about for donkeys years : always used to re proof the lorry tarpaulins and our old tents with it . Not sure how many colours it's available in now, only ever used clear in the past .
andrewroberts.1953
Hi It would appear that Mesowax is no longer in production. Anyone know of a suitable replacement? Needs to have green in it, at least in a couple of shades.
ashley
I belive Fabsil (who distributed Mesowax) is the the product people use these days, have friends who have found it really good and easy to use. Ashley
andrewroberts.1953
Hi, I talked to Grangers who make Fabsil, and it's also available in clear! Grangers also made Mesowax. I was told that no-one wants anything other than clear these days.
Tony B
Nikwax also make a range of treatments. This is very effective water based and sprayed on with a garden sprayer.
Stormin
The 101 forward control club sell a product called Mystox for re-proofing hoods. It's a lot more expensive than fabsil but supposedly a lot better. It can also be pigmented to any colour I understand. Haven't tried it myself yet but I'm sure someone on here will have. Would imagine it's available elsewhere. Norman
