Purbeck rally...

Ok folks - Photobucket now working again so I can upload some pictures of the weekend.

I didn't take many on Saturday as it was blowing a hooly but a good time was had by all.

Jess, Lawsone and I trucked down on the Saturday morning in the rain - we were going to stay the Saturday night but bottled it as we were pretty damp but I think we would of stayed if I had a 9x9 or a 12x15 or something like that as it doen't matter then what the weather was doing. So we didn't have a road run, not because of the weather but because Ashley decided to stay at home and watch X Factor

On Saturday we decided to sort out my winch cable as it has been messed up for while (actually since the Salisbury Plain do) so John Iilot ( fellow GMC brother) thought it would be good to try and sort it out now - 'it won't take long' when it started to get dark we thought that it maybe best to sort it in the morning

We trucked back home to find that Anne's (my good lady) Shire horse had gone down with colic......so that was Saturday evening and Sunday morning taken up

So we eventually went back down and carried on with 'Operation Winch'. The wire rope was in such a mess that it took all day to sort and the whole operation must of involved a dozen people who were all 'experts' :computerterror: but in the end it came down to me undoing the rope by hand and I mean by hand - untangle it, thread it through then under then through again and then under and so on. In the end we got there and HF and Keith also got involved...........after watching from the sidelines all weekend.........goal hangers anyway, we got there in the end - just have a serious paint job to attend to as the weekend events lead to most of my paint being stripped, again, HF!

Good weekend and the GMC again drove like a sports car thanks to HF working his magic on it :-D

Enjoy.

a good weekend was had by all, it was great to meet up with everyone, shame that we didnt have our road run :-( but never mind will have to organise it another time, you have never seen anyone so pleased to get a winch sorted and the amount of people involved was amazing, as you can see I was just supervising and couldnt be bothered to walk over to the otherside of the field so thought i would get a lift , jack that was a sneeky picture didn't even know you had taken it.

look forward to meeting you all again same time same place next year, or sooner for those in Dorset.
