sirhc
I don't know how many of you have seen the original 1960s sales brochure for the CVRT series of vehicles, but while looking through our Beltring photos something caught my eye which reminded me of it! http://www.sirhc.co.uk/scorp1.jpg[/img] http://www.sirhc.co.uk/scorp2.jpg[/img] Chris

LeeEnfield
Hehehe,.....................great, mud certainly adds something to vehicle shots, etc, don't it.................... (and don't the local car jet wash emporiums JUST love you, when you leave it on their forecourts, )
Grasshopper
Had a half hearted attempt at cleaning off the Beltring mud on our CVRT yeaterday. Quickly got bored of that so think we will wait until the guy with the Green Goddess turns up........ :goodidea:

Grasshopper
I cleaned mine off, found this... it should be straight! Too much "air time"?
sirhc
Maybe, but it could have happened while driving back from the low loader. The damper was encased in thick dry mud, we had to dig it out, so I suspect it wouldn't have moved much. I have a couple of spares, but it looks like I may need some more...! The mud on ours is set like concrete, so you are probably right. Going to set to it with a hammer and pry bar, as while our Spartan is still on its trailer, its at a nice height to work on. Don't want to risk any damage, plus i need to retention the new tracks which will require finding the tensioners under all the mud.
sirhc
Our tracks seemed to gain an inch or so of tension with the mud removed, the mud is very heavy, so I'd clean it and see what it looks like first. Have you sorted that lean out yet?
Grasshopper
Not yet, but may check it out while its still on the trailer. Do you have any CVRT wiring diagrams?
sirhc
Yes, I have lots of wiring diagrams. I guess you need one which shows you how to wire up an instrument panel?
