Simon Daymond
I've been watching this on ebay, seems all together, but it's too far away for me to go and look at. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AEC-MILITANT-1958-GOOD-TIDY-RESTORATION-PROJECT_W0QQitemZ110148758441QQihZ001QQcategoryZ122307QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

LeeEnfield
from the photo's (the rear shot), is that right, ?? Looks kinda 'untidy',......as though somethings missing, or wrong body is on it. :dunno: ( I'm not an expert, though. )

Looks kinda 'untidy',......as though somethings missing, or wrong body is on it. :dunno: ( I'm not an expert, though. ) I see what you mean. I think it's missing a rear cross member and the "spades" for the winch. . It does make it look funny. Richard

simon stolly
Rear body looks Bedford MJ/MK to my eye. As for buying cheap Milly's off Ebay, hundreds of miles from home, I did and there's nothing wrong with me! :nut: :nut: :nut: When buying a military vehicle; Rush in Forget logistics Ignore that fact you can't afford it Worry about the consequences latter Try and make sure it's bigger than the last one (keep last one for comparison) Then, and only then, tell the wife Hope this helps, Simon Stolly (single for some reason) :dunno:

N.O.S.
And you'll have your own source of spares :-) :-) :-)
Simon Daymond
my Militant was originally bought for spares! But thankfully it was never required. I couldn't break anything for spares, I've tried and failed miserably, always ending up with more vehicles than I can work on etc. I'm sure this will turn up again, hopefully not in a scrap yard though. ArtistsRifles
Should have seen my wifes face the Saturday of W&P when she was shown the OT-90 and told "thats my new toy"...... Fortunately I'd had the foresight (no pun intended) to get Richard to remove the gaspipe that was acting as a gun barrel so it looked unarmed!! :-D Otherwise it would have been worse - a lot, LOT worse!!!
