Simon Daymond
does anyone know why my gun tractor has a small square brass plate with pressed letter 'T' on it, fastened to the rear wooden body? Also, it might be related, but probably not, why do all my tyres have a small white 'T' stamped on them? Just wondering :dunno:

0 Richard Grosvenor
does anyone know why my gun tractor has a small square brass plate with pressed letter 'T' on it, fastened to the rear wooden body? I don't know. But..I'm sure mine has the same. From memory it's on the sill below the side door :dunno: I can't remember the name that built the rear bodies, does it begin with a T ? It wouldn't explain the T on the tyres though would it if they're connected. Regards Richard

0 fv1609
T indicates all the wood has been tropicalised & able to resist the efforts of termites, worms etc. It only is used on vehicles that have wood.
