Jessie The Jeep Posted July 11, 2007 Share Posted July 11, 2007 The North East Aircraft Museum, in conjunction with the MVT(NE) are holding a weekend event this September following the sucessful one day show last year, next to the Nissan Car Factory in Sunderland. Entitled "Jeeps And Jets", the weekend is open to all military vehicles. There will be a display of military vehicles, WWII dioramas / re-enactors, access to the museum, and stalls, etc. There is a 1940's dance taking place on the evening of the 8th, in the Nissan Sports Club. Tickets for the dance are £4.00 each. 1940's dress is prefered, but optional. You could even dump the Mrs off at the Metro Centre for some retail therapy for the day??
