lozzaboy
Yes they are, as for value I'm not sure, got the 7.62 version to go with my L4 lmg, (though I do have an .303 bren too)
paul_bish
I would say in that condition not too high its £4.00 for a pretty decent one here http://www.dandbmilitaria.com/Bren-Magazine.html
Tony B
Curved Bren mags are .303. The L4 is a straight mag due to the diffrent rim on a 7.
Chris Hall
In better condition they may have been worth about £50. See how it all cleans up.
Hoseman
In better condition they may have been worth about £50. See how it all cleans up. I have 9 boxes of these, haven't paid more than £50 per box. The mags in that condition alone are only couple of quid tho. If your bothered, give them a light clean with wire wool and satin black spray. Depends on the box, metal handle or webbing?? Just wipe box over, don't try to mess with them can make worse. Look on the box just below the fixed catch, sometimes a manufacture and date stamped! Nice find tho, all you need is the Bren to suite! Billruston
It's got a webbing handle :-)
Hoseman
It's got a webbing handle :-) It's an early one then, dated and marked at the catch??
Chris Hall
Webbing handles would indicate Canadian manufacture rather than being early. A Leather Handle would be early.
