Alex van de Wetering Posted October 26, 2014 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Jacek, Engine prefix "TBRA" point towards a 1940 build date of the engine...so, it could well be the original engine for your truck. My Chev C8 is also from 1940 and has a "TRA" prefix, which seems to be a unique prefix for the 8cwt. I can't help you with the info on the brass plate though.
