Guest TONY corbin
After 30 Years of taking MT to shows.Mainly the ALBION CX21 at DUXFORD.It become a problem(cost of diesel at 6mpg .Speed 22mph & size 9ft wide 25ft long ).It can take 3 to 4 hrs to get to WARE & PEACE SHOW from DUXFORD on agood day .A 9ft vehicleat 22mph travelling down the M11/M25 isnotsafe for other road users. We trytouse the old A11. Also you cannot get any parts that might might want replacing without hours on telephone or internet. We use the GTBs for shows now .As their faster and better to drive(another story to tell ) But youcan get wet TONY

Richard Farrant
Whats a GTB? :? Richard, Tony is not on line to explain, but briefly it is a WW2 era US Ford 1.5 ton 4x4 Bomb service truck with a gantry crane and bomb trailer. From the front it looks like a jeep on steroids. russell sprout
KEEP THEM ROLLING!!!!!! The way i see it, if i was fortunate enough to own a Lancaster bomber then i would save for however long it took to get it in the air for just one hour. Most people own smaller jeeps etc for the convenience of garaging/ fuel, but i always feel no matter what the cost, it's irrelevant (within reason) The money we spend on our MV's could quite easily be spent on brand new economical family cars, but we dont......... why not????? BEST OF BRITISH TO YOU SIR!!!!!!!
