Ive seen similar ones for tools, maps or correspondence but wasnt sure if this was the same. David B. Posted November 3, 2013 Share Posted November 3, 2013 It is a tool kit box and often illustrated together with the vehicle tools in the drivers handbooks. I think they go back before WW2 and were made by several different makers. I have two with WW2 dates including one bought just outside Dunkirk.
