GMC Bonnets

Evening all, are there any differences between a GMC bonnet and a Chevy bonnet, this is mainly aimed at the width of the bonnet at the front most part which would sit over the rad, it seems my bonnet at this point is too narrow by about an inch overall. It is narrower than the front side panels above the front part of the wings.

 

Any ideas ?
