Tony B
Until some muppet drops the phone into the kettle to charge it. :-D (You just know it's going to happen) Er..... ONLY!!!
Enigma
I use a small solar panel (telephone size) with internal battery to keep my Satnav going in the Dodge. They take a long time to charge in the sun ( also chargeable by USB or mains). But when they are ful they give a lot of extra time on the Tomtom. A smart Phone or such should also be chargeable by those gadgets.
Tony B
Good idea! I've a six volt Dodge. The other one is you can buy inverters much cheaper now, so I have a recharagble one from Maplins, that gives me a 12 volt or 240 volt output.
