shaun Posted June 21, 2013 Share Posted June 21, 2013 If you fancy a cracking weekend out , it's old Buckenham airshow this weekend. http://www.oldbuckenhamairshow.co.uk looks like the weather is going to hold off for the two day show on our former B24 bomber base (it was home for Jimmy Stuart) the 453 BG of the US 8th AAF. Lots of aircraft including Spitfire, Mustang, P40 .......... Flying and landing as well lots of civiy stuff. Last year we had near 10,000 public through the gates as well as heaps of miliitary vehicles and classic car. This year there is a beer festival and hanger dance. we have started to move some of our kit out of the hanger and on to the show field. no pass needed if you are in a military vehicle just roll up .
