Rick W
A quick question on the back axle convoy light. On my 1944 Morris it has a convoy light on the rear chassis underneath to shine on the back axle. Would the back axle have been painted a different colour to reflect the light or just the standard OD15?
mcspool
Hi Rick, your back axle differential would have had a white patch for the light to shine on. Regards, Hanno

Poptopshed
Its normally the diff pan thats painted white,On tracked stuff its normal to paint some white stripes instead and on trailer its common to find a small plate on a bracket thats painted.
