markw Posted May 11, 2013 Share Posted May 11, 2013 A quick hello to introduce myself, i have been involved with army surplus equipment and clothing for some years, and as a result have a large collection of kit and equipment that is a unknown, hopefully i can contribute to the forum in areas i have knowledge of, and visa versa. arcot1751 Posted May 11, 2013 Share Posted May 11, 2013 Welcome to the HMVF Mark, I've just bought a 1946 Cadillac 62 series sedan that was a staff car at Mildenhall (it still has the US hood number under the hood) then stored in a barn for years, just got it running today for the first time since 2007 ! Runs like a sewing machine with 44,000miles on the clock. Look forward to taking it to a show or two this year.
