Damaged to carburetors by modern petrol

I have attached three pictures of the floats from Coventry climax generator showing of the damage caused by modern petrol. The floats are made up from laminated cork and covered in a varnish, what's happened is that the petrol has eaten its way through the varnish and now has started to delaminate the cork. Now the cork floats jam in the top of the float chamber and so does not stop the flow of petrol. The question is can I get a suitable replacement or does anybody know where I could get metal ones made?

Could you tell me what make the carburettors are. I have quite a lot of parts for older carbs, and plenty of contacts. I may be able to help.
