chambers101
Finally got a scanner so we can now upload lot's of our old pictures. Most of the pics were when we used to go to all the shows with BVT/TOR when i was a wee boy. You may know some of us from Beltring as Twickenham Off Roaders. Ex-boy
Just found this thread and viewed your pictures, but can not get past the first one, as the body on the far left looks to me like Dennis Bach. Could it be? Steve. Finally got a scanner so we can now upload lot's of our old pictures. Most of the pics were when we used to go to all the shows with BVT/TOR when i was a wee boy. nz2
With the Land Rover tracked version, how was the drive to the tracks set up? Was the there no prop shaft with drive from the transfer box direct to the track drive? Doug:)
R Cubed
They are called Centaur's and based on a stage 1 V8 at the front and parts of the Scorpion light tank at the rear. I think there was a very short prop from the transfer box to the track drive axle, as the transfer box is part of the gearbox and so is rubber mounted with the engine and the track drive axle is bolted to the chassis, the tracks are also Scorpion. Something went wrong... Edited December 31, 2012 by Marmite!! Youtube tags added
