fv1609
Making smoke? I can see where you are coming from but this process should not be making smoke.

MiketheBike
I am sure with a bit of imagination you could distill some gin in that

Tony B
OK a bit of logic. Two pipes coming from the area I'd expect the heater matrix to be. Then a tap in the circulation line. A pump and lines apparently going to fuel lines. So is it an artic heater or fuel preheat system? The only other time I've seen something similar was a bypass on hydrovac's so that the concousion of a gun firing on a Portee didn't destroy the vacum. Tony there is a tap & pump but it is not for heating, fuel or any hydrovac.

fv1609
For spraying a dye during civil disturbuncies? I like your thinking Richard but nope. When we get to the point when someone has nearly got the answer it might be supposed that this equipment was intended for that sort of situation but it isn't. Richard Farrant
Think there might be a clue there Clive. Is it for pumping a fire extinguishing fluid into the front of the Land Rover in the event of an incendiary device going off under it? N.O.S.
If the drawing is reasonably accurate, the heavy screw caps and containers suggest contents under moderate to high pressure. And the pump looks just like one of those electric SU type fuel pumps suggesting low pressure. Just thinking out loud.
