The oil pump on a Jeep engine is fairly straightforward to remove, and change the gaskets, ..BUT the distributor is driven off the oil pump gear which can go any any number of positions when reassembling so you will have to retime the distributor, again not too difficult, if you are familiar with this or seek help from someone who is

Rule one before removing any distributor. Mark with paint or similar so you have some idea what position it goes back in. If you are very carful and avoid turning the base of the distributor shaft you can keep the timing close.

Tony you are obviously not familiar with a Jeep engine, the oil pump gear can go back in any number of positions, makes no odds where the distributor was previously

Re timing is not difficult, but you do need a good timing light, and none are that cheap. The manual will have the timing marks in it.

Tony you quite obviously rather out of your depth on this suject, read a Jeep engine manual then perhaps you might get some idea
