Fugly
I don't know if its just my PC, but it seems that for the last few months the hMVF page is taking a long time to load up. I tried clearing down unwanted files etc , and other sites seem to load up quickly. It becoming quite annoying . Any ideas to speed this up? 0 Marmite!!
We (HMVF) are now on our own dedicated server. I'm away from home at the moment using a 3mb Dongle & pages load instantly. 0 Tony B
Have you tried cleaning the computers junk files up? Defrag, system check etc.
0 Pete
I get the "Waiting" bar staying on, even though the pages have loaded up. It's been that way for a couple of weeks now.
0 Gordon_M
Loads in a couple of seconds here, on cable, and a few seconds more at home on the wireless network. Click on the taskbar and bring up Task Manager, then look through the various options to see what is running and what is using memory. I think something else is running on your PC that is using a lot of processor or a lot of memory, or both. It might be something that is nominally beneficial, like anti-virus or firewall, or something that really isn't, like a bot-net.
0 Marmite!!
If using IE all the web is slow, try switching to Firefox if you haven't already.
0 radiomike7
Same here, takes about 3 minutes to load the home page and a good minute to change pages. All other sites work fine. However our new super speedy computer has no problems, loads the home page in about 10 seconds.

0 radiomike7
Just found out that it's my Ad Blocker that is keeping the Waiting Bar ticking away on IE8. Sorted mine too by 'allowing pop-ups from hmvf' - well done.
