We have removed the pump and found that the diaphram is u/s, we have tried removing the diaphram in the usual way, i.e.

pushing in against the spring and turning...... but all to no avail, are we doing something wrong, or is it just a little stiff????

Help.

If i remember rightly (the last time i did one was at the side of the road in Normandy, 2004), the diaphrapm operating 'rods' have a vertical slot cut in them, you have to push down and away so to speak - which means you need to fiddle a bit to work out where the slot is.

If it is any help, i can scan and post the page from the parts list if Stu gives it back.....

To Steve-O & Ken, thank you both very, very much for the info and exploded views, all of which are now downloaded and forming part of my workshop manual. You have made life much easier.

Thank you gentlemen, I will continue to post my progress with the work on the Halftrack.

Regards.

Correct........... both him and Steve are doing 99% of the work, I just pay the bills....... but it does keep them off the streets.... and they will be the ones playing with it......... I wish that I was 30 years younger.
