Big ray
Welcome to the forum....... its not about the Jeep, or any other vehicle that you may acquire, its about the people that you will encounter along the way. I have been collecting and restoring mil vehicles since the 1980s, Jeep, BSA M20, White M3 Halftrack, GMC 353, Royal Enfield WD CO, Harley Davidson WLC. I still have all of these vehicles, but more importantly I have "collected" many, many more friends.

Gerry275
Thanks guys, Yes it was hard to sell the mex-i have been in owners club 26yr's. fancied a Ford GPW (being a ford man) and a friend has a script ford and a gmc 353 air portable- i got feedup seeing him at W&P and not having enough time to see all! My Father served in RAF early 50's in 233ocu as a motor Fitter and on diesel generators on ground approach. I thought i had a script jeep- but the guys on 503 say i am using a british army number( from reading on here- she may be the same number but British army will have totaly stripped her at overhall.
