Some early Stalwarts & 1 Ton Rovers were fitted with altern@tors that provide a 3-phase output. These were Generators No.10 Mks A, 1, 2.

 

It was simply a feed from the stator windings to pins P, T & R by passing the rectifier diodes. But the voltage is far too low it must be used in conjunction with the Power Tool Transformer Unit that then provides the 208v 400Hz as Andy says. The engine revs had to be kept at 2,250 Hz in order to deliver that frequency for the matching power tools also because overheating would occur as the transformer was designed for 400 Hz.
