Not military vehicles, I know, but there's always someone on this forum who knows the answer!

I'm trying to get a definitive list of the Infantry Training Pamphlets (the little blue ones) from the 50s and 60s and this is what I have so far:

1. General Introduction - 1969

2. Fieldcraft - 1954

3. No 4 Rifle & Bayonet - 1955

3B. SLR - 1965

4. ?

4B. SMG - 1955

5. Browning pistol -1958

6. LMG (Bren) -

7. Grenades - 1964

8. 2" Mortar

9i. Energa - 1953

9ii. 3.5" Rocket Launcher - 1953

9iii. 84 mm - 1967

9iv. 66 mm

10. Sniping

Was there one for the .38 Revolver, Vickers .303 or Browning .30? Any help much appreciated

Peter I think the ones you have listed are IT Volume I. Is it only Vol I you are interested in?

Without the WO/Army Code No. its too much of a fiddle to extract them from my list of books I have in Word. Although it is incomplete these are the ones I have & entered onto the database (thank you Neil :D)

Clive,

Brilliant!! That's exactly what I was looking for, so thanks for taking the time to find it all for me!

I always said I would never pay more than £10 for one of these lovely little pamphlets - judging by some of the prices on the internet, I may have revise (up) that a bit!

Peter glad that was of help. That's obviously not a definitive list, they are only the ones I have got. You may get more info by joining:

I tend to agree on your pricing limits. I don't actively hunt literature on weapons or uniforms, unless it is part of a deal on books & it would be silly not to pick up a bargain. The trouble is those two subjects are very popular & the price is fixed accordingly, so I tend to collect manuals on the less eye catching subjects.

(My little hunt around for you showed me that my database is seriously out of date & on my main catalogue I discovered over 50 spelling mistakes. It seems for years I have been writing "Pamplet" & "Ammendment". I never knew I couldn't spell those correctly, so I'll have to add those to my list of things that I can't type correctly even when I know they are coming, which includes regular errors such as "Ploice" & "Protype")

I have a spare blue copy of 'Provisional Phamphlet' For The 120mm Battalion Anti-Tank Gun. (B.A.T) 1954, Part 1 Technical & Battle Handling. WO Code No.8836.

If you were interested, you can have it for what I paid for it.

PM me if you are.

I had to buy a small Gathering of User Handbooks, just to get a couple I didnt have in My Personal Collection!

Very Scarce to find any of these surviving today! :-)
