old north east reme wreckers.

Recommended Posts

hi everyone dont know if this the best place to post but here goes. im trying to trace two ex reme wreckers which belonged to 124 recovery company in newcastle upon tyne the first was a scammell pioneer (i think) which was still belonging to the army in early 1990,s and stood in debdon garden barracks when i was in it was in pretty good nick and i was told it was going to be restored but i cant find a trace on it. the second was a leyland martian which at the same time was parked at killingworth camp near newcastle. when training on the fodens we used to tip it over in various positions and practice recovery . i would love to find out if they still survive as they hold grat memories.
