Did some offroading this weekend

Unfortunantly not in my Dodge because I still have not had the time to fix it but I did drive a Jeep (for the first time) and rode in a number of vehicles. All in all it was a great day which ended with me in an open jeep racing through the mud!

Very nice Joris - looks like a cracking day out, get to drive a mans truck (not a Reo but a GMC)?

 

And one quick question - what is the dart board all out on the first picture :schocked:

Loooks good fun Joris, I do like the Daf they are almost as good as a Reo (not quite) but better than a GMC :wink:

There were were all kinds of tests to do to see how agile you were with your vehicle. One of them was to throw darts from the vehicle.

 

Unfortunantly I did not drive the DAF but I've been in it for a trip around the course, great fun!

I notice the Jeep has lift rings on the front bumper - is it a Canadian contract Jeep?

That I wouldn't know but it's a jeep of the first series and that it was used by 8th Army in Africa. I can mail the owner for more info if you're interested.

Judging by the berms on the corners it looks as if the area has been used as a motocross track.

Yeah we are not the only ones using that plot of land. We are however one of the few who are allowed to use it.
