Paul Drake Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Hi all, Does anyone have any info / details / piccies on Claribel, a radar type device fitted to Land Rovers in Northern Ireland, which indicated from which direction a round had been fired? There was mention of it in a book on the British Army in NI. Quote

AlienFTM Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Hi all,Does anyone have any info / details / piccies on Claribel, a radar type device fitted to Land Rovers in Northern Ireland, which indicated from which direction a round had been fired? There was mention of it in a book on the British Army in NI. I have seen another thread with this name. If it wasn't on HMVF, it must have been on ARRSE. Drifted off into some weird stuff including IIRC ZB298. But lots of descriptions of Claribel as used in NI, especially some of the big sangars in Belfast. Quote
Paul Drake Posted March 25, 2011 Author Posted March 25, 2011 ZB298 web search does go off into some interesting things doesn't it. http://www.skomer.u-net.com/projects/radar.htm Quote
