ashley
Hello all, today the town of Wimbourne in Dorset Royal British Legion launched their `poppy appeal` the Dorset branch had been asked to possibly supply vehicles but only a maximum of four parking spaces were available. Though it was a small event there was a fair amount of intrest from the public and many yarns were exchanged. Being late  i did not manage to get any earlier pictures so here`s are some from the square http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a344/atcase/poppy%20launch%20wimbourne/DSCF0001.jpg[/img] http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a344/atcase/poppy%20launch%20wimbourne/DSCF0002.jpg[/img] http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a344/atcase/poppy%20launch%20wimbourne/DSCF0003.jpg[/img] http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a344/atcase/poppy%20launch%20wimbourne/DSCF0005.jpg[/img] http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a344/atcase/poppy%20launch%20wimbourne/DSCF0006.jpg[/img] http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a344/atcase/poppy%20launch%20wimbourne/DSCF0007.jpg'>http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a344/atcase/poppy%20launch%20wimbourne/DSCF0007.jpg'>http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a344/atcase/poppy%20launch%20wimbourne/DSCF0007.jpg[/img] http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a344/atcase/poppy%20launch%20wimbourne/DSCF0007.jpg[/img] http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a344/atcase/poppy%20launch%20wimbourne/DSCF0011.jpg[/img] sorry, all the picture discriptions have not appeared at all, vehicles attended were....... 1942 Bedford fuel bowser, 1942 GMC, M20, Hotchkiss jeep, Ford GPW The onion seller ( a Frenchman ) is apparently a frequent visitor to the town and as far as i know not a member of the resistance !
