Meteor mark 4B
This is similar to the T34 recovered from a lake in Estonia some years ago, the tank looked to be in good nick when it was pulled out.
steveo578
Meteor mark 4B the tank looked to be in good nick when it was pulled out. The problem is with this one is that the Gulf of Finland is salt water, unlike the recoverys of tanks on inland lakes and bogs. in addition T26 are much less robust being an upgraded Vickers 6ton tank. 25 pounder
nice find , I too would like to see her 'after cleaning up ' , amazed that these relics still turne up . I heard from a friend , who's father is active in river works , he found 3 German trucks , fully loaded with gear , weapons , ammo , on the Polish - Russian border . Authorities confiscated it all , because of patriotic value. Sorry , no pictures available
